I’m an AV Technician and audio engineer working across recording and broadcast production environments. My experience includes engineering live and multi-platform broadcasts, recording and mixing music and spoken-word content, and supporting production teams in fast-paced, deadline-driven settings.
I’ve worked closely with artists, producers, video production and event teams, taking on roles that include broadcast and live sound engineering, recording and mixing in Pro Tools, managing workflows, audio quality control, and production leadership. I’m comfortable troubleshooting signal flow issues, understanding AV technologies, maintaining audio quality standards, and adapting quickly during live productions.
Having moved across the world to pursue this career, I place strong value on humility, culture, and purpose. I believe technical work is at its best when it supports people, creativity, and storytelling, and I strive to use my skills not just to deliver great sound, but to contribute to something larger than myself.
My journey into audio began in high school, where I was preparing for a traditional engineering path while playing guitar in my school band. Alongside performing, I found myself increasingly drawn to the technical side of music, live sound, studio environments, and the technology that shapes how performances are experienced.
After high school, I began studying mechanical engineering in India, but quickly realized it wasn’t the path I wanted to pursue. Through research and self-reflection, I discovered Middle Tennessee State University and its audio engineering program. Making the decision to move across the world on a student visa was not easy, but it was driven by a clear commitment to follow my passion. It’s a decision I’ve never looked back on.
From my very first month as a freshman, I began working with TrueBlueTV Event Productions. What started as an entry-level opportunity quickly became a proving ground. I worked on a variety of projects, including sports, corporate, concert, and broadcast productions, consistently demonstrating reliability, preparation, and a strong work ethic. Over time, I grew into the role of Lead Engineer, leading teams, engineering live concerts and large-scale sporting events, mixing FOH sound in arenas and stadiums, and supporting ESPN-style broadcasts. Along the way, I expanded into video production and networked audio systems, gaining a broader understanding of modern broadcast workflows.
More recently, I interned at Sound Image, where I was exposed to the scale and precision of the touring concert industry. There, I gained hands-on experience with RF engineering, advanced networking, inventory management, and large-scale team collaboration, further developing my technical confidence and professionalism.
Alongside extensive real-world experience, I’ve maintained strong academic performance at MTSU, completing rigorous coursework across studio recording, live sound, broadcast engineering, and audio systems. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from exceptional faculty and have received multiple recognition certificates for my work on recording and production projects.
I was featured in MTSU News for recording a song with a local band after discovering them while engineering audio at a university football game. The article highlights my initiative, collaboration with artists, and studio recording work.
